Managing authorization concepts, roles, licenses, and compliance is more important than ever in the SAP world. Having the right tools for this is essential, as the entire process can otherwise become very resource-intensive or an outright burden for organizations.
This has always been our goal with our SAP-certified SIVIS Suite, and it will be our guiding light for years to come. In fact, now that we are fully integrated into Pointsharp, we will strengthen our SAP solutions.
But what do we mean when we say we are fully integrated into Pointsharp? Let us take it all from the beginning.
A little over a year ago, SIVIS was acquired by the European cybersecurity organization Pointsharp. Since then, we have been hard at work internally, combining the efforts of both companies into one. During the fall of 2024, many of those changes have started to show. Right now, there are three main things that we would like to highlight:
SIVIS 7.8 release. In 2024, we released version 7.8 of the SIVIS Suite, our biggest update yet. It features our new Authorization Robot, which uses AI to help you create or restructure your entire authorization concept automatically. Among the numerous additional updates, you will also find an improved Compliance Manager and Identity Manager, easier management of Fiori catalogs, and much more.
Website change. Regular visitors of SIVIS.com may have noticed that the website is now redirected to Pointsharp.com. This is a natural part of the integration, and all web pages you wanted to reach at SIVIS.com are now redirected to their counterparts at Pointsharp.
This includes our Partner portal, downloadable resources, and, of course, the SIVIS product itself.
A focus on solutions. As a part of the integration, and the overall evolution of Pointsharp, we now emphasize solutions and what we can help you solve rather than the individual product names. You will hear us talk a lot more about our solutions in the future.
The SIVIS product will be a naturally integrated part of the Pointsharp Identity and Governance for SAP solution. Every single feature that our customers know and love about SIVIS Suite is still there; it is just communicated in a new and slightly different way.
Those are the big changes right now. Everything you know about SIVIS is still there, just presented differently under the Pointsharp banner. The SIVIS Suite can be found under our IGA for SAP solution, while Compliance Suite becomes a part of the Identity Lifecycle Management solution. They join the other high-security solutions from Pointsharp, such as PKI Management, Access Management, and Secure Information Exchange.
Behind the scenes, the acquisition will strengthen our offerings in the SAP world. Product development of the existing SIVIS modules and future innovations is fully ongoing and at a faster pace.
At the same time, we can offer your organization a broader package of cybersecurity solutions that all integrate perfectly with the SIVIS modules you already use.
Soon, there will be many exciting news announcements for new and existing customers, partners, and users. So keep an eye out as SIVIS sails into the future under the Pointsharp banner.
