Pointsharp was founded in Sweden in 2006 by a group of entrepreneurs with a shared vision of how new security solutions are required to support the mobile workplace.
In 2020, Main Capital Partners invested in Pointsharp as a strategic partner and joined our journey to build a leading European security software and service provider. In 2021, we acquired Swedish-based SecMaker to broaden our offering with certificate-based PKI solutions.

In 2022 and 2023, we continued our journey by acquiring German security companies Cryptshare and SIVIS, which solidified our position as a full-service IAM provider as well as giving us tools to help you secure your data.
Today, we have 200 people and are growing at a rapid pace. Our HQ is located in Stockholm, Sweden, with offices around Europe in Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands.
